Meet Gavin Poteet
I’m Gavin Poteet, a Nashville-based racing driver and founder of GPRacing. Since beginning my racing career in May 2024, I have earned 23 podium finishes in 24 race starts, including seven wins and a podium at the Zenith 12 Hours. I am the current Atlanta Motorsports Park club SR1 champion.
My journey began at Radical Racing School and developed through competition in the Radical SR1. Today, I’m focused on progressing into professional motorsports through preparation, consistent performance and experience across sprint and endurance racing.
GPRacing brings that ambition together with a commercial purpose: creating opportunities for businesses to connect with clients, prospects and audiences through racing, experiences and content.
The 2027 Racing Program
My primary goal for 2027 is a full season in the IMSA Mustang Challenge, competing in the Ford Mustang Dark Horse R. GPRacing is actively building the commercial partnerships needed to bring this program to the grid.
I am also confirmed for the 2027 Gridlife Rush SR program with Racecraft Collective. Select endurance races and feature events will complement the season, adding seat time and opportunities to connect partners with the racing experience.
The focus is clear: continue developing as a driver, compete at a higher level and build lasting relationships with businesses that see value in the program.
