Hello, my name is Gavin Poteet, founder of GPRacing. I am an aspiring full time automotive racer based in Nashville, Tennessee. Since a child I have had a lasting love for anything automotive. Weather it was Hot-wheels cars or going out to Cars & Coffee, that was my entire world. Unfortunately growing up here it is not necessarily an option as a kid to begin racing in a go-karting league, which turned me to playing baseball for almost 12 years of my life.  Recently after completing my first year at college, I decided it was time for a change, and a big one. In may of 2024 I dove head first into the world of racing, getting my entry level competition permit driving a Radical SR1 in a 3 day school, needless to say, I found out what I really should have been spending my time on, and it all began to snowball. This experience has been beyond incredible and am super excited to continue and share it with you all.

I have so many ideas and visions for what this can become, but it all starts with being in the drivers seat on track. Of my last and first 7 races, I have finished on the podium (top 3) in every single one, and winning my first two races at the last event in Birmingham, Alabama at Barber Motorsports Park. The rush was like no other I have felt and has shown me, one way or another, this has to happen. My goal right now is to raise enough to compete in the Radical Cup Series for the 2025 season, which would be a massive step up racing with lifelong professionals and proving I belong in this industry, but I need your help. As happens many a time in racing, things change, and my pathway may lead me to a different series or car, but no matter the outcome I plan to bring all of you with me to experience how great this world really is.
